The 20A Range Current Sensor Module ACS712 features a precise, low-offset, linear Hall circuit with a copper conduction path near the surface of the die. The applied current flowing through this copper path generates a magnetic field, which the Hall IC converts into a proportional voltage. This module is ideal for sensing and controlling current flow in various applications such as over-current protection circuits, battery chargers, switching mode power supplies, digital watt meters, and programmable current sources.
