The 5A Range Current Sensor Module ACS712 features a precise, low-offset, linear Hall circuit with a copper conduction path near the surface of the die. The current flowing through this path generates a magnetic field, which the Hall IC converts into a proportional voltage.
This sensor is essential for a wide range of applications, including over-current protection circuits, battery chargers, switching mode power supplies, digital watt meters, and programmable current sources.
Features:
Low-noise analog signal path
Bandwidth adjustable via the FILTER pin
5 µs output rise time in response to step input current
