Step-by-Step Driver Installation


Step 1: Download the CH341/CH340 Driver

  3. A ZIP file will be downloaded to your Downloads folder.


Step 2: Extract the ZIP File


  • Navigate to your Downloads folder.

  • Right-click the downloaded ZIP file.

  • Select “Extract All…” and extract it to a folder.


Step 3: Run the Setup File

  • Open the extracted folder.

  • Look for the file named SETUP.EXE or CH341SER.EXE.

  • Plug your Arduino UNO SMD board into the USB port.

  • If installed correctly, Windows will assign a COM port to it.


Step 5: Check in Arduino IDE


  1. Open the Arduino IDE.

  3. You will now see a COM port (e.g., COM3, COM4).

  4. Click on it to select the correct port for uploading code.
