The NTC Thermistor Temperature Sensor Module is an affordable, compact device that is highly sensitive to ambient temperature changes. It is commonly used to measure the surrounding temperature. By adjusting the potentiometer, the temperature detection threshold can be modified. The module’s DO output can be directly connected to a microcontroller to detect high and low states based on environmental temperature changes. It has a temperature detection range of 20°C to 80°C and can serve as a replacement for line temperature sensors, useful in applications like controlling water temperature or water tanks.
Typically, the 4-wire thermistor measurement method is the most accurate, as it eliminates the current flowing through the measurement cables, avoiding any additional resistance.
